Det hänget i basen får man inte i BR!
Löjligt bra och trevligt
Hur definieras "hänget i basen"? Är det någon ny, teknisk parameter?
Svårt att mäta en upplevelse men tycker Martin J. King beskriver det bra.
"Another observation made when comparing a bass reflex and a transmission line
enclosure is that the bass from the transmission line is less resonant compared to the
bass reflex enclosure. Looking at the curves in Figure 6 and thinking about the
superposition of room modes at low frequencies, you can imagine that a room with a
strong standing wave in the 30 to 40 Hz range would sound very boomy if excited by the
bass reflex enclosure and might sound flatter if excited by the transmission line
enclosure and its already rolling off low end. The bass from the transmission line would
be reinforced by the room producing an extended and flatter response, it would sound
dry and tighter compared to the bass reflex enclosure with the added room emphasis
applied to the already flat SPL response. I can get behind this idea since my imperfect
listening room has a strong response at 40 Hz due to standing waves excited between
the walls in two directions (unfortunately my room is somewhat square). "
