One of the transport locks is used as a screwdriver, the are specially designed for this purpose.
I'll give it a shot. There may well be better ways to do this, but here is how I remember doing it:
1. Place the record player where you intend to use it and make sure the non-suspended part of the chassis is level using a spirit level to measure.
2. Turn the outer platter upside down on top of the inner platter and place the mat on top as well. Place a record of average weight on top of that. Make very sure it's all centered.
3. On top of the table there are three black plastic caps. Two in front and one at the back of the non-suspended part of the chassis. Two of them are beneath the platter. Remove these to reveal some large screws underneath.
4. Using a coin, turn the screws until the suspended part of the chassis is level. Gently measure this with a spirit level, making sure the spirit level itself doesn't affect the result.
5. Make sure both chassis parts are level in height as well. I checked this using a regular playing card. Gently slide it over the gap between the two chassis parts. If it catches, adjust the height accordingly.
It takes a little bit of time and accuracy, but when it's done you'll have years of trouble free listening. Especially the belt run is sensitive to small changes. You may find your belts seem to last longer and no longer slip off as easily.
