No bas in front speakers

I just bought a 51. speaker system from Cerwin-Vega
2 big fronts with a 15" woofers each, 1 subwoofer with 15" woofer and the rest of the system dose not matter for now.
I have a Yamaha RX-A820 and after some tweaking I manage to tel the receiver that I want the sub to be managed from its own controls, super BASE.
My problem is I get no base almost from the main speakers, although they are listed as big speakers in the setup, that should mean ful register speakers, this setting have worked with a Marantz SR 6005.
The only thing here would be that also the surround speakers were listed as big, will that matter ?

Which cables are you using?

there is probably some high pass filtering going on. check what gets outputted to the sub and then to the main. try sending unfiltered signal to all speakers. even a factory reset can be used if everything else fails.

also check what the different modes consist of, stereo, 5.1 etc etc etc. there might be some crap going on without the amp telling you on certain modes.

read the user manual.
