Anthony and the Johnsons

Var inne idag i en skivaffär och frågade efter deras första skiva "Anthony and the Johnsons" och fick till svars att den var så dålig att ingen ville ha den, det var tydligen bara "I am a bird now" som folk ville ha.

Jag höll på att tappa hakan i golvet. Själv tycker jag att deras första skiva är ett rent mästerverk rakt igenom...

Jag tycker inte att I am a bird now skivan alls är dålig, den är riktigt bra. Men i mitt tycke står deras första skiva i en egen särklass.

Vad anser ni? Jag måste få se om det bara är jag som blev paff över skivförsäljarens kommentar.

Det spelar ju egentligen ingen större roll om den första skivan är bra eller dålig, kommentaren får mig ändå att tappa hakan!

PS. Den första är riktigt bra. I am a bird now också...

Han måste skämta eller vara aningen.. bränd, han i butiken.
Om jag ser till skivorna i helhet är de i samma toppklass båda två. De låtar som blivit enskilda favoriter kommer från första albumet de flesta.

Nu måste jag lyssna lite på antony. Antony genom L6 är klart godkänt!

Kan tänka mig att affärsbiträdet var en finnig 22-åring som lyssnar på sunkig tjejpop och gangsta-musik.

Antony får ju allt som går genom hans strupe att bli till guld. Jag förmodar att det är (också) deras första jag har men lyssna på Hitler In My Heart, Twilight, Blue Angel, Cripple and the starfish ....

Bara för att musik inte spelas 78 gånger på en dag i Shit Radio FM (Sämsta Hitsen Idag jingle jingle) behöver den inte vara dålig - djävla kulturpoliser.

Hörde Antony & Co. göra Knockin On Heavens Door i Sommar i P1. Tror det var Parnilla August som spelade den låten.
Vet ni om den är med på nåt spännande album? Verkar som om den är med på ljudspåret till I'm Not There men mer vet jag inte. Nån som vet?
Det var för övrigt en mycket bra version!
